This Independence Day playlist is meant to remind us of one thing best stated by Night Ranger - "We can still rock in America!" Some songs here are blatantly patriotic while others were performed in protest of the American government; some relate to the Founding Fathers' beliefs while others simply celebrate the American way of life. Regardless, I doubt that even Thomas Jefferson could write something as catchy as "Young Americans," I bet that Benjamin Franklin would dance the night away at a Springsteen concert, and I'm sure Hendrix would have been happy to flip the bird to King George III. Every song on this 4th of July playlist can help you enjoy your holiday barbecues, picnics, or other get-togethers...because what could remind us of what America's all about more than taking a day or two off work, eating and drinking with friends and family, and blasting some good ol' rock and roll out of your windows?! Happy Fourth of July!
