Liner Notes

For some people, the past and the future are like dueling banjos. It's six of one and a half dozen of the other, perennially spliced together like kissing cousins. Getting the past on the run or shooing it from creeping into the house, like a determined cat is hard to do, but so is creating a future that's all fine lines and faint whispers. There are no roads that can take you to a future and it's there -- in that thought -- that Fox Stevenson drops us with these three acoustic-tinged songs. These are mostly dream notes, scribbles on some pad of scratch paper of things that we might want to think about. They are nods to the sharpened dangers and the hunger pangs, as well as the crippling fear that comes in thinking about setting out to meet them. Fox Stevenson cites these fears and prompts you to get on with it.
