The tour sold out arenas and stadiums across North America and Europe, eclipsing all previous scale and attendance records. The tour was also the first since 1972 that the group did not use backing singers, with the only…entire summary

I also was privledged to be at this show. It was the first concert my parents let me go to. I was so into Floyd at that time. What a great experience. One I will treasure and remember for the rest of my life. Rich

What is also missing from this set is the final encore song: Careful with that Axe, Eugene. This concert was the last time this old song was performed live.

I saw the same tour in Tampa, at Tampa Stadium.... It was amazing.... They warmed up the sound equipment, testing the quad speakers. It sounded like birds were circling around the stadium. First half of the concert was Animals, then an intermission. Second half of the concert was Wish You Were Here. Money was the encore. Wow....

I was at this show and have the 2 set CDs. Incredible. Got them on Ebay a few years back.Great sound. I also saw Pink Floyd on April 12,1975 at the Cow Palace in SF. That show to this day 33 1/2 yrs later was the most incredible show I have ever seen or heard. They played by themselves. No opening act. No way. 4 hours is how long this band rocked. 70s Rocked. The Bay Area Rocked in the 70s. Steve

The June 19 Chicago show was also a knock out performance. The weather was perfect and 90% of the crowd was WAY, WAY into it. Sat eleven rows under the back quad stack and saw everything including a fine young lady dancing topless on the scaffolding, twisting to the sound.. ahh to be young again. Steve
