Had dinner with him in 2007. The word genius is thrown around way too often. With Al, it's not used enough. The man, in a word, is a fucking genius!

Always one of my favorite artists. From Blues Poject to present day. This is a great concert, wish i could have been there

WOW! A very intimate setting, but Al blows everyone away with amazing versions of John Prine's "Sam Stone" and "Just One Smile." You always had a lot of soul. The autobiographical "Blues in 752 Bars" tell his story nicely. Listen to "Drown in My Own Tears." Pure and full of fun. He pulls off this solo concert with charm, personality and chops.

Al is a gem and national treasure in my humble opinion. This performance captures the essence of Al Kooper. Fabulous!!
