Bear's Den reminds us that love isn't so much hard as it's complicated. It's intricate and it's agonizing. It forms and then dissipates. It always thrives before it crumbles. It leads people to dark places and the highest of peaks. It will leave you cotton-mouthed or drooling, depending on how scared you are of it - how good it's going at the time. It comes in and out like the signal on a transistor radio. It turns to static. It is a motherfucker. It leaves people in the lurch, even when they saw it coming. It packs all kinds of blindsided punches that a guard can't always be up. You're numb or battered silly.
